“It is the free spirited men and women that we most admire and often envy – those individuals who dare to be themselves.”   KEVYN AUCOIN

This to me, says embrace your natural beauty – we all have a favourite feature and a lot of us have plenty that we’d like to change but think about how free we could feel if we forgot about the negatives and instead concentrated on the positives…. one of the great things about make-up is how it can highlight these features and show them off in the best possible way.

Don't let your skin marinate in makeup!

When you don’t wash your skin at night, you’re letting your skin marinate in makeup while you sleep, not to mention a day’s worth of oil and bacteria buildup. Washing your face every night definitely ranks high in the skin care must-do’s!

Too tired to wash your face at night?Your skin doesn’t need to be washed five minutes before your head hits the pillow. Do it earlier rather than later! …

Skin Care Tip: Always apply yourcleanserdirectly to your skin using your fingertips. Massage in small circular motions, rinse well and wipe over the skin using facial sponges or a facecloth.

Achieve a flawless, natural day look.

STEP 1 – THE PREPARATION:
Start with a foundation primer, use an oil-free formula for oily or combination skin and a moisturizing one for dry and normal skins, I love the Laura Mercier primer. Apply, Lip conditioner before you apply the rest of your make-up so this can be working it’s magic, dry lips are not attractive!

STEP 2 – THE PERFECT BASE:
Apply foundation to the centre of your face with a foundation brush or your fingers, and work outwards – remember foundation does not need to go everywhere like a mask, thus the importance of choosing the perfect shade for your skin tone.
